Friends,
I know that so many people are feeling scared right now, worried about the fate of our democracy and the trajectory of our country. And I get it. It feels like every time we turn on the TV or check our social media, there’s more division and more uncertainty – especially when it comes to the upcoming election.
But for me, one thing is absolutely clear:
– If we want to stand up for our values and protect our democracy,
– If we want to protect the right to an abortion, to IVF access, and to make our own decisions about our own bodies,
– If we want to make sure our kids are safe in school, from bullying and from violence,
We have to flip the House in November. And if we give it everything we’ve got, I know we can do it.
House Republicans have made it crystal clear that they’re not only incapable of governing, they don’t even have any interest in it anymore. They are more interested in currying favor with Donald Trump than just about anything else.
The good news is that there is a clear path to a Democratic House majority – and it runs right through California. But it will take a surge of grassroots support from Democrats to make sure we win, so I’m asking: Will you support my re-election campaign with a donation today and help us flip the House?
