The Bemidji Veterans Home recently held its dedication event. As I said there, it is both my honor and privilege to serve as the Administrator of the Bemidji Veterans Home.
As the proud son of a Marine, I was born, raised and educated in northern Minnesota. I am a Bemidji State graduate who is proud to call Northern Minnesota, and Bemidji in particular my home. I have over 30 years of healthcare leadership experience including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and beyond.
When I joined the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) 18 months ago, I was searching for a very mission-driven organization and position. I am grateful for the opportunity to be the first Administrator of this Veterans home. My commitment is that my team and I will strive to provide the highest quality of personalized care to the Veterans we have the privilege to serve, and that every day will be Veterans Day at the Bemidji Veterans Home.
As I said to our Veteran Residents at our dedication event, my team and I are dedicated to serving you just as you have served our country. Our Bemidji team has worked so hard to make this place truly a home. The local community and region provided on-going support over many years to make this Home a reality.
