Hey John, it’s Laura Carlson, Chief Digital Officer at the DGA. Earlier this week, you heard from Governor Tony Evers about how Donald Trump and thousands of Republicans from around the country gathered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin – a place Donald Trump called a “horrible city” – to fire up their base, and spread their far-right agenda at the Republican National Convention.
Now that it’s officially over, here’s a quick recap for you of what we saw this week:
- Donald Trump selected extremist J.D. Vance to be his vice president – and now they’re officially the GOP ticket this November.
- Republican politicians from around the country spewed countless lies about Democrats and peddled harmful ideas like restricting abortion, election denial, and gutting voting rights – singing the praises of Donald Trump’s Project 2025.
- Republicans rallied together and raised tens of millions of dollars to pour into their fight to take back the White House, assume control of Congress, and flip governorships in battleground states like North Carolina red.
- It’s more clear than ever that we need to defeat “the most extreme Presidential ticket in modern American history” in November.
That’s why we launched our Post-RNC Democratic Strategy Survey and I’m personally asking you, as a top grassroots supporter in 19125, to be one of the first respondents to complete it:
John, input from supporters like you is invaluable to refining our strategy for how to win this November – from the White House to toss-up, battleground states like North Carolina and New Hampshire. And after what we saw at the RNC earlier this week, we know we can’t risk losing.
So, we're reaching out to our most engaged, plugged-in supporters to get their input for our strategy moving forward. Will you take 3 minutes to complete my survey? I’ve even included a personalized link just for you:
