**Governor Gordon’s Town Hall in Sheridan: Navigating Wyoming’s Economic Future Together**

 

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Governor Mark Gordon will hold a town hall meeting in Sheridan *from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23* to hear from community members and discuss the economy, education, and job creation. The Governor will moderate a panel that will discuss protection of Wyoming’s core industries, workforce development, and how to better coordinate Wyoming’s economic development needs with our educational system.

Governor Gordon will be joined by Sheridan County School District 2 Superintendent Scott Stults; Sheridan College President Walt Tribley; Emit Technologies Chief Operating Officer Michelle Wilson; and Holly Krutka, Executive Director of the University of Wyoming’s School of Energy Resources.

“Town Halls are an opportunity to share details about the initiatives and opportunities we have put in place to protect our Wyoming way of life, and to listen to the community and learn about what they believe makes sense for our state,” Governor Gordon “I look forward to hearing from citizens, businesses, and educators, and engaging in dialogue about new programs designed to help Wyoming students prepare for the workplace.”
