Join us on Zoom next Tuesday for the second of our #CoronaConversations online event series - 'Struggling to Survive: Women, Work and Welfare'

Hi Friend,

Following on form the great success of our Zoom event last week, we're hosting our second #CoronaConversations event, 'Struggling to Survive: Women, Work and Welfare'.

Women are more likely to be in low paid and insecure work, and existing inequalities, especially for BAME women, mean that they are being disproportionately impacted by the Covid-19 outbreak. Women still do the majority of unpaid care and school and nursery closures mean women are having to give up work or reduce their hours. On top of this, the majority of key workers in highest risk role are women and with PPE shortages their lives are being put at risk.

Join us at 7pm on Tuesday 28 April for a panel discussion about the problems and solutions with experts in this field, chaired by our CEO Sam Smethers.

The event will be hosted on Zoom and you will receive a link once you have reserved your place through the booking link below.

This time we are also asking if you would consider making a donation towards the cost of the event. We want to keep this event series free so that our events are as inclusive as possible, but right now we urgently need more funding, so if you feel you can afford to make a contribution we would be very grateful. Details for this are also via the booking link.
