Friend,
Welcome back to another edition of our weekly Kean for Congress newsletter
update!
Since my last update, the political landscape of our country has changed
significantly. On Saturday the 13th, we witnessed an awful assassination
attempt on former President Trump which took the life of one rally attendee and
seriously injured two others. Kean for Congress' prayers are with the former
President and his family, the families of those impacted, and the country. As
Tom and our team has said,no matter our political passions, there is no place
for political violence in America.

This week, Tom attended many in-district events, speaking engagements, and
held meetings with constituents. More on some of this below. Our Field Team,
participated in volunteer trainings, door-launches, and met with local
candidates to finalize field plans.
The energy we are feeling on the ground has been incredible, and we were proud
to welcome new volunteers into the fold this week who are ready to work hard to
deliver Republican victories in November. To get involved, please visit our

✅ Tom Kean, Jr. Delivers Funding for Community Projects ✅
This week, Tom held two ceremonies to deliver Community Project Funding checks
secured during the FY24 Appropriations Process. On Monday, in Raritan Township,
Tom presented a$459,000 ceremonial check to be used for the purchase and
installation of new generators at the Raritan Township Municipal Building and
Police Department. On Wednesday, he presented a$2,700,255 ceremonial check for
the Scotch Plains Emergency Operations Center, which will relocate all
emergency services to a new Emergency Operations Center.
“Scotch Plains is grateful for Congressman Kean’s support to relocate our
emergency responders to a more centrally located area of town, thereby making
all residents safer, while simultaneously creating opportunities in our
downtown for smart growth, more open green space for community gatherings and
new jobs and businesses. The prudent investments we are making today helps
ensure that Scotch Plains will continue being one of the best places to live
and work in New Jersey for generations to come.”
 - Joshua Losardo, Mayor of the Township of Scotch Plains
“I appreciate the leadership and efforts of Representative Kean to make
Raritan Township a key priority. This grant is a testament to the effective
collaboration between federal and local authorities in addressing the needs of
our community. Congressman Kean’s support enables Raritan Township to advance
our emergency management infrastructure and significantly improve our
resilience to ensure that critical functions, such as our Emergency Operations
Center, continue uninterrupted during emergencies. This funding will make a
difference in the lives of our residents especially at the times they need it
most.”
- Scott Sipos, Mayor of Raritan Township

Field Update
This week, our Field Team was busy with volunteer trainings, door-launches,
phone banks, and meeting with local candidates!
One highlight of the week was when the Somerset County Republican Organization
held a vote-by-mail (VBM) training at our Battlestation. At this seminar,
leaders likeChairwoman DiFrancesco and Warren Township Committeeman Dan Croson
explained the importance of VBM to volunteers in the field, and laid the
groundwork for a comprehensive VBM push that Kean for Congress will assist on.
As a VBM voter myself, I know how important it is to "play ball" on VBM efforts
and cut into Democrats' lead before Election Day. Many thanks to the Chairwoman
and Dan for their work on this front.
Our door knocking program continued this week in Bedminster, Bernardsville,
Springfield, Westfield, Somerville, and Hackettstown! We also are hosting
launches in coordination with our county and municipal organizations this
weekend inLong Hill and Mendham Borough. We hope to see you there. Don't forget
to click our sign-up link if you would like to join our door efforts in the
coming weeks. <[link removed]>
Kean for Congress held our weekly phone bank series in Morris county on
Wednesday evening. There, we engaged in positive conversations with the
critical swing-voter universe, a key to our winning coalition. I would like to
give a shoutout to one of our fantastic interns,Jerry, who set a new record for
weekly calls this cycle by making over1,000 alone. These efforts are excellent
and we are lucky to have many volunteers like Jerry who are contributing to our
efforts. We have a few more phone banks lined up in the coming weeks that you
can join!
Call for Volunteers!! The Kean for Congress team will have a significant door
launch efforts in the coming weeks. Join Team Kean and local candidates as we
knock on key swing-voter doors.

Volunteer of the Week:
Pat Cassio
Pat Cassio of Rahway is a member of the Rahway Knights of Columbus, a small
business owner, and a volunteer in the Rahway community at large. He has been a
Rahway native since his birth. Patrick trained in an apprenticeship and
developed his carpenter career. An active Republican, Pat has been a stalwart
of the Union County and Rahway organizations most of his life. He recently
helped lead the charge to recruit six ward candidates in Rahway, and guide
their primary write-in campaigns. This week, he organized a Rahway training for

Tom Kean Jr. is the proud husband to Rhonda, and the proud father to two
daughters. Their family resides in the wonderful town of Westfield, New Jersey.
Tom’s dedication and commitment to public service was inspired at a young age
by his grandfather who served in the U.S. House of Representatives, and his
father who served as Governor of New Jersey.
Throughout Tom’s life, he has followed in their footsteps while setting forth
his own path of public service—now serving as a first-termCongressman for New
Jersey’s 7th District.
Kean's mission is simple:
For New Jersey.
For America.
For All Of Us.
Last cycle, NJ-07 was one of the KEY districts responsible for flipping the
House from Democrat Rule. This November, you can bet the Radical Left will be
gunning for Kean in their efforts to take back Congress.Would you please
consider chipping in today ($5, $10, $15, or any amount you can spare) to help
Tom counter the attacks that WILL be headed his way?
