New polling shows that fewer than a third of Mainers trust the Trump administration’s ability to manage the Coronavirus outbreak. But it looks like Susan Collins doesn’t agree with the vast majority of her constituents -- she thinks that Trump “did a lot that was right in the beginning.”

Already the nation’s most unpopular Senator, Collin’s continued refusal to hold Trump accountable has caused her to lose the trust of more and more Mainers. New polling shows Collins with an abysmal 37 percent approval rating, compared to 52 percent who disapprove.

The only road to flipping the Senate runs through Maine. The public health and economic crises we are facing as a country has only steeled our resolve to work to elect strong and stable leadership at all levels.
