Hey There Democrats, I am not going to lie. I am having a tough time watching the RNC. The MAGA GOP is on their best behavior at their convention, but there is not enough molasses in the world to sugar coat their agenda.
Banning abortion nationwide, retribution on political opponents, tax handouts for the wealthiest, and eliminating healthcare coverage for millions - that’s just some of what’s in the authoritarian Project 2025 vision for another Trump term that would be even more chaotic and disastrous than the first.
Despite Trump and J.D. Vance's rhetoric at the Republican National Convention, the Republican party's record and agenda prove they are the Party of division and inequality. Republicans believe healthcare is a privilege only for those who can afford it, and not a right. They want lower taxes for corporations and billionaires, and will rig the tax system against working families.
Republicans want to force a complete national ban on abortion and reproductive healthcare, including access to contraception. They are also scheming to dismantle Social Security and Medicare to fund their tax cuts for the rich, sacrificing the health and well-being of senior citizens and other Americans who rely on these programs. |
In contrast, Democrats and the Biden-Harris Administration are staying focused on expanding healthcare and economic opportunity, while protecting our fundamental rights. The Trump-Vance ticket, aligned with Project 2025’s extreme far-right agenda, threatens the rights and values that are the very foundation of our American way of life.
