Just a few districts north of CA-38, Democrat Christy Smith is in a heated race to represent CA-25 in Congress. Christy won the primary back in March, but now she needs to win a special election runoff that will be decided next month!

 

Team Sánchez is deeply committed to keeping the House blue by protecting California’s 25th District. This is a priority race for House Democrats in our efforts to protect and expand our majority – a majority that is putting a check on President Trump.

 

Christy Smith has dedicated her career to education, serving as an Analyst for the Department of Education and founding the Valencia Valley Technological Education Foundation before becoming the first Democrat to represent the 38th CA Assembly District in over four decades. In the Assembly she has championed expanding access to quality, affordable health care, lowering prescription drug costs and expanding opportunities for working families.

 

The runoff for this special election is on May 12, and ballots will start arriving to voters on April 13. With just a couple of days until voting begins, we need your help getting out Christy’s message!
