Yes — Reichert believes that Washington public school teachers are overpaid.
Bob’s mom was a special education public school teacher. Teaching is one of the most important jobs in the state. Teachers deserve our respect and to be paid more, not less.
This is just the latest example of how Dave Reichert is deeply out of step with the majority of Washingtonians. Here are a few examples:
- Reichert said “I love Donald Trump’s policies.”
- Reichert voted multiple times for a national abortion ban that criminalizes doctors.
- Reichert suggested placing ballot boxes by firing ranges.
- Reichert denies that humans contribute to climate change.
