Here’s the deal. Mark Robinson and his far-right allies think that they can buy the Governor’s Office out from under us. That’s why GOP legislators recently changed the rules to allow out-of-state mega-donors to pour unimaginable sums of dark money to prop him up.

They have an extremist agenda: cutting public school funding, threatening voting access, and enacting a total abortion ban.

Despite the danger he poses to our state, the polls still show me locked in a tie with Mark Robinson. We won’t win without bringing the remaining undecided voters onto our side — and that won’t be easy.

We’re planning an aggressive campaign of voter outreach and engagement. We’re running ads on TV and online, connecting with North Carolinians across the state, and knocking on countless doors to get out the vote. That doesn’t come cheap, John.
