Happy Earth Day, friend!
There are so many things I love about the Eighth District, but one of my favorite things is the outdoors. As a kid, I’d spend long summer days at Perch Lake in Baxter. I want that for the future generations in our district, too.
So allow me to be pretty blunt: The future of our planet lies in the balance this election. Flippable districts are the key to climate action in Congress—and that starts right here in MN-08. Our current Congressman Pete Stauber’s abysmal 7% lifetime rating from the League of Conservation Voters says it all—he isn’t committed to fighting for a future for all of us.

I recognize that this isn’t just a fight for the super-liberal or people who live in cities. In fact, climate change will harm our district in more ways than we know: From our farmers to floods to our favorite winter activities, we will feel the strain. That’s why our leadership needs to be prepared to take climate action on their first day in office—because this fight is personal.
