Rolling Stone: A Gunman Shot at Trump With an AR-15. RNC Visitors Can Win a Free One.

Umbrellas, air rifles, tennis balls, aluminum water bottles, light bulbs, and locks — these are just a few of the items that will be banned from the Republican National Convention.
Notice what's NOT on this list, friend? GUNS.
That's right, attendees at the RNC can bring fully-loaded AR-15 assault rifles, but not water bottles. Even after former President Donald Trump was shot with an AR-15-style rifle.
The GOP is living in a reality where fake guns are a threat but real ones aren't. That's not the reality WE live in.
The truth is, assault weapons are dangerous. Every year hundreds of people are killed by assault weapons — the same can't be said for tennis balls.
A tennis ball isn't a weapon of war. Neither is a water bottle or an umbrella or a light bulb. An AR-15 is.
That's why we need you to raise your voice before our midnight deadline:
Should Congress ban assault weapons?
