As you know, Doris has been a staunch advocate for affordable and accessible internet for all.

Access to reliable, fast internet determines who gets to participate and succeed in the 21st-century economy. That’s why when Doris was helping craft the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, she was unyielding in her calls for broadband access and affordability.

That’s where the Affordable Connectivity Program was born –and it’s helped over 23 million households across the nation maintain an internet connection. For those families relying on the ACP to stay connected, an unexpected lapse or loss in service is simply unacceptable.

Doris worked hard to secure funding for the Affordable Connectivity Program. However, the Republican-controlled House let funding for this critical program expire, and millions of families lost access to affordable, high-quality broadband internet.

It’s not too late to save the nation’s largest broadband affordability program. Doris is helping lead bipartisan efforts to provide more funding for the ACP.
