Foster Parents Punished for Refusing Radical Gender Ideology

New Case Alert! The Center for American Liberty filed a lawsuit against the Vermont Department for Children and Families (DCF) for its unlawful and retaliatory actions against Melinda Antonucci and Casey Mathieu, dedicated foster parents from Vermont. The DCF threatened to revoke Melinda and Casey’s foster care license after they refused to agree to give kids "gender-affirming care."

Our client, Eva Knott, is an undercover journalist who reports on Antifa in the San Diego area.  After an attorney for members of Antifa complained, the San Diego Police Department denied Eva's press pass.  This violated Eva's First and Fourteenth Amendment rights -- not to mention SDPD's disregard for established procedures and due process.  The Center for American Liberty, alongside the Law Office of D. Gill Sperlein and San Diego journalist Eva Knott, filed a lawsuit against the City of San Diego and its Police Department (SDPD) AND WON.  Eva has her press pass back and she is free to cover police activities in San Diego.
