This morning, I was in Milwaukee with some fellow Democrats ahead of Donald Trump speaking at the final night of the Republican Convention.

Before I tell you what I said about Trump’s lies and how important it is that we re-elect President Biden and hold the Senate for Democrats, I have to ask: Can you split a contribution of any amount between my campaign and the Biden-Harris campaign today?

Ok, here’s the deal:

In Milwaukee this morning, I said Donald Trump is a fraud and a compulsive liar, and tonight he’s going to go on stage and lie through his teeth about himself, his record, and what he would do as president.

So before his speech tonight, I wanted to talk honestly with you about his record, and what he plans to do if elected.

First, his record:

Donald Trump is a convicted felon. A jury of his peers reviewed the evidence and decided he was guilty of 34 felony counts.

Donald Trump is also a fraud — He was caught falsifying business records and he’s no longer allowed to do business in the state of New York.

And Donald Trump is still facing charges for his actions on January 6th, 2021, where he encouraged a mob of protesters to storm the capitol in order to overturn the election and put himself back in power.

But it’s not just his record that’s troubling: it’s what he’s already said he’ll do if he wins in November.

Hundreds of his former staff put together a playbook for him called Project 2025 and it includes:

* Gutting our system of checks and balances to give himself virtually unlimited power.

* Banning abortion nationwide.

* Cutting Social Security and Medicare.

* Mass deportations and putting immigrants in detention camps.

This is just a tiny fraction of what’s in Project 2025’s 900+ pages.

Particularly after the Supreme Court’s recent ruling that there’s virtually no limit on the President’s power, a Donald Trump presidency is a grave threat to our country and to our democracy.

If Donald Trump wins, there is nothing to stop him from implementing every bit of his right-wing agenda as outlined in Project 2025.

But contrast Trump’s Project 2025 with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s plan for America.

Joe and Kamala will guarantee reproductive freedom for every American.

They’ll protect the right to vote from right-wing attacks in Congress and state legislatures across the country.

They’ll make sure that big corporations and the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share.

And they’ll fight every day to build a better future for the next generation.

The contrast could not be clearer. Donald Trump and JD Vance want what’s best for themselves — Joe Biden and Kamala Harris fight for all of us.

I feel confident that as we make the case to the American people, they’ll see the fundamental difference between the two candidates, and we’ll defeat Donald Trump.

But it takes a lot of resources to bring our message to voters across the country. And with just 109 days until Election Day, time is of the essence.

So please, split a contribution between my campaign and the Biden-Harris campaign today. We have a lot of work ahead of us to re-elect President Biden and hold our Senate majority, so anything you can give today would really mean a lot.
