John —
I’m writing to ask you to split a $10 contribution between my campaign for Congress and Adam Schiff’s campaign for Senate before our midnight deadline comes to a close.
Please give me just a minute to explain why:
In 2019, while serving on the National Security Council, my brother Alex heard a phone call wherein then-President Trump pressured Ukrainian President Zelenskyy to fabricate lies about Joe Biden as a quid pro quo for US military aid.
At the time I was the NSC’s lead ethics attorney. My brother alerted me of the call and we immediately informed our superiors. Alex eventually testified before a closed session of the House Intelligence Committee, on which Rep. Adam Schiff served as chair.
Adam Schiff led a thorough, honest investigation and eventually secured the first bipartisan vote in a Senate impeachment trial to convict a U.S. president in the history of our country.
Exposing Trump’s abuse of power was the right thing to do, John — but we all paid the price.
Trump fired Alex and me from our posts, and the GOP and right-wing media have spent every day since seeking to take down Adam Schiff — including trying to remove him from Congress — simply for championing the rule of law.
That’s why it’s up to us to have Adam’s back. Because he will always have our backs in the fight for our democracy.
Democracy is on the line this November, so it’s more important than ever that we have staunch voices who will stand in its defense in the Senate. Adam Schiff is one of those voices.
So please, split a contribution of $10 or whatever you can afford today between Adam’s campaign for Senate and my campaign for Virginia’s 7th district. Every dollar makes a difference.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your split donation to Adam Schiff and Eugene Vindman will go through immediately:
Thank you for taking the time to hear me out today, John.
