Team,
Right now, a community-led campaign to raise the minimum wage in Oklahoma is gaining momentum.
Currently, the state has a $7.25 hourly minimum wage, and organizers just submitted signatures for a ballot measure to raise it to $15 if folks vote in support of this change in November.
Let us know where you stand. Do you support a $15 minimum wage?
Only around 90,000 signatures were required to get this measure on the ballot, but the local organizers turned in 180,000 — showing there’s steady support for raising the minimum wage.
No one should have to work endless hours or take on multiple jobs just to make ends meet. That’s why thousands of Oklahomans are taking action to raise the minimum wage and deliver much-needed financial relief to thousands of people.
Oklahoma isn’t alone in having a $7.25 minimum wage. There are many other states still using this as a baseline, which is why we want to hear what folks from Washington think.
Take our quick survey now to let us know if you support a $15 minimum wage:
Thank you,
