Hi John,

As the Republican National Convention wraps up in Milwaukee today, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what this all means for North Carolina.

On night one, North Carolina’s very own Lt. Governor Mark Robinson took the stage, and he had plenty to say about his campaign for governor. He spoke about his own upbringing in Greensboro and bellowed a commitment to “never forget where I came from, or the struggles of the people I meet.”

But John, Mark Robinson couldn’t be more disconnected from his North Carolina roots. To put it bluntly, Mark Robinson is pushing an extremist MAGA agenda designed to strip away our rights, our healthcare, and our access to good-paying jobs.

No matter what happens in November, I’m fighting for our freedoms in North Carolina, and across the nation. It’s critical we have strong leaders in Congress standing up for, prioritizing, and voicing the needs of our communities. The Republican National Convention is a humble reminder that not everyone shares this sentiment. Can I count on you to pitch in $ or anything you can to keep me on the frontlines of this fight? As the Republican National Convention reminds us North Carolina is at risk of a divisive, hateful, instigator of job-killing culture wars taking the helm as governor – I want to remind you that no matter the outcome , I’m fully prepared to continue fighting in Congress and get things done for North Carolina.

Because at the end of the day, progress is what matters.

Whether it’s advocating for voting rights, reproductive rights, civil rights, access to education, affordable housing, environmental justice – you name it, I’m fighting for it.

I’ve got my foot on the gas, ready to surge ahead to re-election in November. Can I count on you to pitch in $ or anything you can right now to keep our resources fueled up, and progress at the helm in Congress? [[link removed]]
