NASN2024 Assessment and Evaluation
You must complete the assessments and evaluations to receive the Certificate of Completion and be awarded Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) contact hours for both In-Person and Virtual NASN2024 sessions. To locate assessments and evaluations, choose the event and the session day. The deadline to earn NCPD for both events is October 11, 2024.

NASN's E-manual Coordinated Support System for Students with Epilepsy aims to build school nurse capacity and confidence in assessing and addressing the physical and social needs of students with epilepsy and create a network of community-based supports, resources, and self-management programs to connect students and families. The E-manual allows school nurses quick access to resources to develop a comprehensive school epilepsy program.

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights recently released three new resources with information for students, families, and schools addressing the civil rights of students with sickle cell disease, epilepsy, and cancer. These new resources explain when these medical conditions trigger protections under Section 504, what kind of accommodations an educational institution may need to take to avoid unlawful discrimination, and what an institution may need to do to remedy past discrimination.
