ENTERING THE DAYS OF AWE:
TEACHINGS AND PRACTICES IN A MYSTICAL KEY

Wednesdays, 7 – 8:30 PM
Starts September 4 for four weeks
Study mystical teachings and practices on the Days of Awe. Each session will be devoted to texts on spiritual searching, an awaking of our own relationship to God, and contemplating entering the Holy of Holies. This is learning to take home and integrate into life— enriching the Days of Awe and the “ordinary” days that follow.
Tuition: $70

JEWISH DENOMINATIONS -CHALLENGES OF MODERNITY
Rabbi Dr. Mitch Parker
Tuesdays, 10 – 11:30 AM
Starts September 10 for ten weeks
Examine Jewish identity and religious expression against the backdrop of dramatic political and social change. Gain insights into the development of the major Jewish movements, and the impact that gender, assimilation and Israel have on the Jewish people.
Tuition: $225 (Includes Melton Student Reader)

WHY DO THE RIGHTEOUS SUFFER AND THE EVIL PERSEVERE?

Starts September 12 for five weeks
Begin to unpack several of the big questions of life that mystify each generation. Is there a moral order to the Universe? Are human beings meant to suffer? Why do evil people seem to get ahead? Is there an ultimate reward waiting for the righteous? Will the wicked ever be held accountable for their misgivings?
Tuition: $90
