Dear Friend,

Social media and Big Tech (with the notable exception of X/Twitter since Elon Musk's takeover) continue targeting conservative content for censorship. Today, Facebook removed a post from Gatestone Institute's page and officially notified us that the post was "spam," that we "tried to get likes, follows, shares or video views in a misleading way," which "goes against our [Facebook] Community Standards" and puts Gatestone's page "at risk for [further] restrictions." Why did they deem our post "spam" and "misleading"? No explanation provided. But Gatestone readers are intelligent, sophisticated people. Here is the complete post that FB censored. Judge for yourself:

"Despite Israel's compliance with humanitarian concerns, rules of war, and attempts to avoid Palestinian civilian deaths, the perception remains that Israel should be the one to make concessions for a ceasefire, not Hamas, which should immediately release the hostages it took. Hamas, like other Islamic groups from a different culture, does not accede to the West's laws of war – this much is clear from their treatment of hostages."

Anything untrue there? Misleading? "Spammy"?

The apparent reason behind this is clear to us: Facebook wants to spare the poor Hamas terrorists' feelings from being hurt by criticism. Boo-hoo.

Help us fight back. Donate now.

We are facing a hostile social and media environment. Big Tech platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google and YouTube suppress, obstruct and even ban the content of people and organizations that dare to express opinions differing from the reigning leftist "woke" orthodoxy. Gatestone has become the target of their unfair suppression, and it is taking a toll on our readership and our ability to reach the public with our research, analysis and reporting.

With your help, we are going to fight back. We will launch a paid content-promotion campaign on X/Twitter to bypasses the cartel of social media giants. Our immediate need to fund this effort is $75,000. You can help make it happen. Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, every donation earmarked for this campaign in the next week will be double matched.

For one week only, every $100 you donate = $300 with the matching.
Click here to make donation now, tax-deductible in the US.

Despite the stumbling blocks thrown in our way by those who would silence us, Gatestone continues to tirelessly research, analyze and report on the challenges and threats we face, and their long-term implications for our civilization. We must ensure that this information reaches the broadest possible public, even as the Big Tech censors attack us. Together, we will reach new readers and spread our message even further.

With warmest thanks,

Nina Rosenwald
