John, When we started this journey in 2018, we were told we were trying to achieve the impossible. Who would have thought we would make history by flipping a Republican-held district and electing the youngest Black woman to ever serve in Congress? You did. Right alongside you, we believed in the importance of our shared mission and the difference we can make together for our community. Since then, we've kept Lauren working for us in Congress where she’s had 14 bills signed into law that have delivered real progress for working families. You’ve heard us say this before, but we can’t help but celebrate Lauren’s successful efforts to expand access to health care coverage, invest in quality maternal care for the more than 2 million women veterans living in the US, address causes of the climate crisis, and make our communities safer from gun violence. Looking back, it's clear to see how our hard work has paid off. But we can't grow complacent. With every election, we must rise to the occasion and continue working together to reach new heights.
