Today, Donald J. Trump will accept the Republican nomination to be President of the United States for a third time. Family obligations prevented my presence at the national convention—so it’s important to formalize what I have been publicly saying—that Mr. Trump has my complete and total endorsement. 
 
Without question, America would be better off today had Mr. Trump been President for the last 4 years instead of Joe Biden. Perhaps providentially, however, Americans have been awakened to the evils of radical progressive Democrats who endanger and weaken our great nation. Now, we see a larger and growing coalition of Americans united for the transformative change we desperately need. 
 
After Joe Biden’s disastrous policies and failed leadership—leading to rampant inflation, dangerous open borders, and weakness on the world stage—the American people are desperate for a strong and competent leader. 
 
This is a moment to fight, and Donald Trump is the man for the moment. 
 
I look forward to working with Mr. Trump, his excellent pick for Vice President J.D. Vance, and his team to win the election—and then leading the charge in the U.S. House to advance and implement the right policies of limited government that will secure our country and return America to the people.
