Over the last 18 months, we've pioneered this groundbreaking program across the South, distributing more than $500,000 in grants to 1,000+ families in 115 states who have been forced to travel to other states to get care. Together, we've made sure that no discriminatory law is blocking these families from accessing the affirming care they need.
But this is a problem bigger than just the South. Right now, families in other regions of the country – in states like South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska – are grappling with similar laws that ban affirming care for their trans children. And today, we want to let these families know that they are not alone, and that we're here to help.
The Transgender Youth Emergency Project – in partnership with local organizations – will ensure that every family has access to funding, resources, and patient navigation services they need to get the care they deserve. Pitch in $25 or more now to help us kick off the national Transgender Youth Emergency Project and help any family that needs us.
This program is bringing relief and security to hundreds of families every day – and it wouldn't be possible without supporters like you.
