Happy 50th Anniversary, Earth Day!

On April 22, 1970, Earth Day emerged as a voice to the growing
consciousness that our earth was in peril; by all accounts, it was the
catalyst for the modern environmental movement.

Since then, science has confirmed that the production and consumption
of meat and other animal products causes profound ecological harm,
leading to land degradation, deforestation, greenhouse gas emissions,
water pollution, and biodiversity loss.
