The Low Cost and High Impact of Accommodating Employees

YOU ARE INVITED!

Every business wants to ensure its employees have what they need to perform at their best. Research shows that accommodations are low in cost and positively impact the workplace in many ways—in fact, 56% are no cost, and most have a typical cost of $300!

Join the Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability Inclusion (EARN) and the Job Accommodation Network (JAN) on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 2:00 to 3:15 p.m. ET, for the third webinar in our small business series "The Low Cost and High Impact of Accommodating Employees [ [link removed] ]."

Tracie DeFreitas, JAN’s Director of Training, Services, and Outreach, and a small business representative with experience accommodating employees will discuss:
• The process of accommodating employees in a small business environment.
• Resources that can help small businesses provide workplace accommodations.
• Examples of low- or no-cost, high-impact accommodations.
• Accommodation success stories and lessons learned from small businesses.

This webinar is 45 minutes and will feature a 30-minute question-and-answer session with the presenters following the discussion.

Participation is free, but space is limited.

What is the Community Support Waiver?

The Community Support Waiver (CSW) is a new Medicaid waiver program that will assist Kansans with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) who do not need continuous, 24hour support. The CSW will expand community care choices and supplement natural supports to make it easier for anyone to live independently at home.
