John,

"In 2012, on his third tour of duty in Afghanistan, an improvised
explosive device left Dan Crenshaw's right eye destroyed and his
left blinded. Only through the careful hand of his surgeons, and
what doctors called a miracle, did Crenshaw's left eye recover
partial vision. And yet, he persevered, completing two more
deployments. Why? There are certain stories we tell ourselves
about the hardships we face - we can become paralyzed by
adversity or we can adapt and overcome. We can be fragile or we
can find our fortitude. Crenshaw delivers a set of lessons to
help you do just that."

That’s the description of the new book written by my friend and
colleague, Navy Seal Dan Crenshaw. It’s called Fortitude:
American Resilience in an Era of Outrage and I’d like to get an
autographed copy to you.

It’s a book that I want you to read, to share with a friend and
to give to younger Americans to remind them of America’s
greatness and why it is worth fighting for and saving. We must
invest in the next generation of Americans and this book is a
great way to do that.

Today, America is in the midst of a battle against an invisible
enemy - COVID-19. President Trump, Governor DeSantis and I
understand that we must begin laying the foundation now and
taking steps to get Americans back to work in a manner that is
safe as we begin to reopen our economy.

We will triumph over COVID-19. That is not in doubt. And, as we
come out on the back side of this, it is critically important
that we do it in a way that makes America stronger.

The principles in Dan’s book can help us do that and it’s why I’m
offering it to you.

Dan’s book is straightforward and no-nonsense. He provides
insights from his own life, finding the strength to work through
life’s challenges, from the menial to the most difficult struggle
you could imagine.

Dan grew up an average American kid, but then he navigated the
war zones of Afghanistan and now the halls of Congress. He tells
his story with fortitude, humor and a sense of duty. There are
good life lessons in here.

I spoke with Dan over the weekend and he agreed to save
autographed copies for donors to my campaign. Donate $100 within
the next 72 hours, and I will send you an autographed copy of Dan’s book.

It is a pleasure to serve you in Congress during these uncertain
times and as we prepare to rebuild in this pandemic’s aftermath.
I hope to have your support as we work to Keep America Great.

God Bless You and God Bless America,

Bill Posey
