The GOP is striking a national abortion ban from their platform to “leav[e] it up to the States.” Already, HALF of the States have banned abortion or have hostile restrictions.
This is the same party that has encroached on IVF, questioned birth control, and instantaneously implemented multiple abortion bans after the fall of Roe, regardless of the public’s stance on abortion.
They are hiding their true intentions so they can increase their chances of winning the 2024 election and push their anti-abortion agenda more. This new platform opens the door to more extreme interpretations and establishing fetal personhood.
