I wanted to give you an on-the-ground update about the serious campaign our GOP opponent is running. Please see below for the update memo I sent Josh, and I hope you’ll consider donating to help us combat the onslaught of attacks.

OPPONENT UPDATE MEMO
Topline: Kevin Lincoln, the Republican mayor of our largest city is running a very competitive campaign and pulling out all the stops to unseat Josh. He has support from all factions of the GOP including MAGA extremists.
Polling: The most recent public polls show Lincoln leading by 1 point.
Organizing: Lincoln is active in the community attending events and recruiting volunteers. We expect him to run a comprehensive outreach program this fall.
Press: Lincoln and his GOP allies are actively attacking Josh with at least 1 press release a week lying about Josh’s record. National Republicans are flooding $4 million into the Central Valley to defeat Democrats. We expect them to be on cable and broadcast channels specifically targeting Spanish speakers.
Fundraising: Lincoln is consistently one of the top GOP raisers in the country. We must match him dollar for dollar.

So there you have it. We are running against the GOP's "dream candidate" and we need your help. This is one of the most important races in the entire country. We CANNOT let Lincoln out-organize or out-raise us.
