Aaron Rouse pointing to a football with the caption: This? This is how most people know me.

A lot of people know my name from when I played for the Green Bay Packers. During my time in the NFL, I learned many lessons.

I learned how to tackle issues head-on, and I did just that when I ran for the State Senate to stop Republicans from banning reproductive freedom (and won!)

I learned about teamwork and how to work with people from all backgrounds and perspectives. That served me well as a Senator when I had to work across the aisle to deliver real solutions for Virginians.

And I learned the importance of humility in public service. As an athlete sometimes you have to sacrifice yourself on the block to save your teammates. That’s something that I’ve done for the people of Virginia as Virginia Beach City Councilman, as State Senator, and vow to do as Lieutenant Governor.

I’m going to continue in my fight to give back to the communities that raised me. I’m going to be a Lieutenant Governor who stands up for all Virginians. If you’re with me, will you chip in now ahead of my July midmonth fundraising deadline?

A NEW GENERATION OF LEADERSHIP FOR VIRGINIA.

I’m running to be your Lieutenant Governor to build a Virginia where every young person has every opportunity possible to succeed. That’s the kind of Virginia I believe in. That’s the Virginia worth fighting for.
