Let me be blunt, team: Joe Biden is our party’s nominee, and I’ll continue to do everything I can to support the Biden-Harris campaign.

I know Joe Biden, and I trust Joe Biden. He is the most accomplished President in modern history, and he represents the best of Delaware and our country.

Joe is the only one we can count on to defeat Donald Trump. He’s done it before and he’ll do it again. But only with our support.

This is the most consequential election of our lifetimes, and the consequences of this election will be felt for generations to come.

With Trump’s decision to add J.D. Vance to the Republican ticket, the stakes of this election just got even higher.

Trump picked J.D. Vance as his running mate because Vance will do what Mike Pence wouldn’t on January 6: bend over backwards to enable Trump and his extreme MAGA agenda, even if it means breaking the law and no matter the harm to the American people.

Democracy must prevail over bigotry and hatred.

That’s why our team will be working hard at turning out every last voter to protect our Democratic Senate majority in November. Because that’s what Democrats do.
