Earlier this week, Donald Trump chose J.D. Vance to be his Vice President pick.

Who exactly is J.D. Vance? He is an extremist who is against no-fault divorce, supports a national abortion ban, and voted against IVF access.

J.D. Vance will be the deciding vote in a 50-50 Senate if Trump wins.

But that’s not all. J.D. Vance has vowed to do what Mike Pence didn't. Vote to overturn the election.

I’ll be clear: There couldn't be a more irresponsible pick than J.D. Vance. He is a danger to our democracy.

Now, it is more important than ever that we double down on efforts to take back the House majority. Because in a world in which Donald Trump wins this election, the House could be our only chance at stopping anti-abortion, anti-immigration, and anti-climate protection bills from being passed.

And it starts with protecting every vulnerable Freshman Democrat in the House and making sure they are re-elected this November.
