People should never have to choose between their ballot and their health.
Every citizen should be able to vote -- and if the current crisis persists, voting by mail will be a crucial component in our representative democracy.
But now, President Trump is undermining the voting rights of millions of people across America.
In the midst of this pandemic, we must take steps to protect our democracy without endangering our communities.
I’m working hard to ensure that North Carolinians are able to exercise their most fundamental right.
I will not stop until every person has a chance for his or her voice to be heard.
