DAY 1 | April 22

STRIKE

On Wednesday, April 22nd, the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, New Yorkers will join in a citywide digital strike and three days of global solidarity to demand action on the climate crisis.

We will stand in solidarity with the frontline communities both hit hardest by COVID-19 and the ravages of the climate crisis. We’ll take to social media to share powerful home-made signs, posters, and art demanding that elected federal and state leaders enact policies for a better, more sustainable, and equitable future. We may not be able to march together in the streets, but our demands and the power of our collective voices will not be ignored.

Strike with us and show the world just how hard we will keep fighting for all we love, especially in this moment. Let’s mark Earth Day 50 as a turning point for our city.
