I have two young kids, y'all, and I want to make sure that they grow up on a planet that’s healthy and habitable for their future. Right now, we’re not on a path for that to happen.
Right now, we’re on a path where our kids are going to see devastation all across Texas and America, from farming communities hit by severe droughts to coastal communities pummeled by stronger and more frequent hurricanes. Sen. Cornyn is making matters worse, dismissing the effects of climate change by saying “It’s summer.” (Seriously!)
CHIP IN TO DEFEAT HIM
Climate change is already hurting our communities -- thousand-year floods are happening way more often than they should, hurricanes are wreaking havoc all across the coast, droughts are destroying our crops. On Earth Day, let’s take a minute to think about the future we’re leaving for our kids -- and dedicate ourselves to changing it.
I’m committed to passing policies in the U.S. Senate that will combat climate change and leave this planet in better shape for future generations. Can I count on you to help me leave a better world for our kids?
