Quantá Crews is running to keep her seat in the Arizona State Legislature. During her first year in office, she introduced 13 bills and co-sponsored more than one hundred! Quantá is passionate about protecting women’s access to quality healthcare including reproductive healthcare. This year, she introduced the Equal Rights Ratification bill and created a maternal health working group to reduce maternal mortality rates.

After completing her first year in the legislature, Rep. Crews began the work of fostering an informed and engaged community relationship within her district, hosting numerous opportunities for constituents to share ideas and concerns for her to take back to the State House.

Her district is very diverse with over 64 languages spoken at home. In our meeting with Quantá, she told us about her community. It’s full of working class families trying to survive inflation and rising housing costs. As a mom of three sons, a community advocate, and an associate minister, she is committed to building a community where every family can thrive.

Democrats are only two State House seats and two State Senate seats away from flipping the whole Arizona legislature. We need to be well-resourced as we work to secure a pro-choice majority in these chambers. As a reminder: turning out the vote for Quantá in AZ will translate to more votes for pro-choice candidates at the top of the ticket in one of the key states on the electoral map.
