Dear Neighbor,

Every year I am honored to introduce a bipartisan resolution recognizing July 10th as Journeyman Lineworkers Resolution Day.

Lineworkers keep our lights on and our economy running. They battle the elements to deliver power to our homes, businesses, and hospitals. That’s why I am proud to acknowledge their sacrifices and thank them for the work they do with this resolution. 

Just last week, lineworkers from around the country were in Texas working under difficult and dangerous conditions to restore power for the more than 2 million residents affected by Hurricane Beryl.

 I want say a special thank you all the lineworkers in California’s 38th Congressional District. As your Congresswoman, I will always support and work in your favor. If you know a lineworker, make sure to thank them for keeping our communities and families connected.
