As temperatures soar you may be planning to go to the beach soon to cool off. Please remember to bring your eco-friendly sunscreen and give the birds lots of space. The US Fish and Wildlife Service suggests the following ideas to protect birds at the beach:
Follow all posted rules.
Give birds space.
Follow posted rules about keeping dogs on leash.
Don’t leave trash on the beach, including food waste.
Don’t feed birds.
