Hi,

Louis DeJoy has been an utter catastrophe for the U.S. Postal Service ever
since he was appointed by Donald Trump four years ago.

His 10-year so-called "modernization plan" has caused on-time delivery
rates to crash through the floor while postage rates keep rising.^1,2

It's gotten so bad that DeJoy's bosses at the Postal Service Board of
Governors just called on him to pause his entire signature reorganization
plan.^3

This is a major slap in the face to DeJoy. But with the presidential
election up for grabs, we could be running out of time to get rid of Louis
DeJoy. So we need to ramp up the pressure now.

Louis DeJoy's 10-year so-called "modernization plan" for the Postal
Service is his signature initiative and includes shutting down as many as
400 sorting and delivery facilities nationwide.^4

But it's been such a disaster that even Republicans in Congress have begun
to turn on him.

House Republicans added a provision to the bill that funds the Postal
Service that requires DeJoy to "halt any realignment, consolidation, or
partial consolidation of processing or logistics facilities" in areas that
are falling short of on-time delivery benchmarks.^5

This comes after a group of 26 senators — including 13 Republicans, 11
Democrats, and 2 Independents — called on DeJoy to pause any further
implementation of his 10-year plan to shrink the U.S. Postal Service.^6

Now, even the Postal Service Board of Governors, the agency that oversees
the Postal Service and has the power to fire DeJoy, is telling him to
pause his plans.

It's clear that DeJoy has lost the confidence of nearly everyone who has
power over the Postal Service. But DeJoy was a major donor to Donald
Trump, and with this presidential election up for grabs, we might not have
much time to get rid of him.

That's why we're ramping up the pressure on the Postal Service Board of
Governors to take action now. It's time for Louis DeJoy to be fired.
