John,
We are just weeks away from the primary election, and in an open primary system like ours, an endorsement matters. It helps voters learn more about a candidate and their priorities.
In 2020, I was proud to be endorsed by the editorial board at the Seattle Times, one of Washington state's leading news organizations, and I am proud and humbled to announce that they have endorsed me again.
I am grateful for the support of the SeattleTimes editorial board; I've always respected their commitment to making Washington the very best it can be – even when we've disagreed on how to get there.
In fact I'm honored to have the support of anyone who believes in a better future for this state.
This is where you come in, John.
My campaigns have always been powered by folks like you, who share our vision. So, as proud as I am to have the Times on my side, it's just as important to me to have your endorsement. Can I count on your endorsement this year?
Endorse Denny
When potential candidates ask me if they should run for elected office, I always respond with the same question: "Why do you want to run?"
There's only one right answer to that question:
"To make a difference and to serve my community and the people who call it home."
Nothing matters more than that, John. Period.
That's why our campaign is – and has always been – powered by grassroots donors and volunteers from across Washington. Your endorsement is a simple, but important way to get involved and build the momentum we'll need this year.
Gratefully,
Denny
