The new Government has been quick out of the blocks.

In today’s King’s Speech, it set out a raft of new bills on energy, housing, transport and devolution.

But where is the investment needed to address our failing public services, scrap the immoral two child benefit cap, and accelerate the transition to a safer greener future?

And what’s being done to tackle the shocking, escalating inequality which has seen the ballooning of billionaires’ wealth while millions of children's lives are blighted by poverty?

John, the next five years of this parliament are critical. Help us hold the Labour Government to account.

The Green Party made history earlier this month winning almost 2 million votes and getting four brilliant MPs elected.

Now the hard work of Carla, Adrian, Sian and Ellie begins to push the Labour Government to fix our dilapidated health, education and prison systems and 

be bolder and better on the climate, nature, and inequality crises.

The end of 14 years of incompetent, corrupt and chaotic Tory Government is to be welcomed.

But what Labour is offering is not enough and not fast enough to make a real difference in what’s a critical decade for people and planet.

We need massive investment now to fix Broken Britain and make the wealthiest contribute more to fund a just transition to a safer greener future.
