The U.S. Census Bureau is scheduled to hold the fourth in a series of webinars to share updates on its efforts to lay the groundwork for the 2030 Census. The upcoming webinar will announce the sites selected for the 2026 Census Test; the first of two major on-the-ground tests planned to prepare for the 2030 Census.
The webinar will discuss the Census Bureau’s criteria and the rigorous, data-driven approach used to identify the sites. Each location contributes to the test’s objectives and requirements, particularly those designed to improve enumeration among historically undercounted and hard-to-count populations.Â
