*MADISON, Wis.* – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced that DRM Industries Corporation (DRM) has joined the state's Green Tier program as a Tier 1 participant. DRM’s Tier 1 status affirms its commitment to sustainability and desire to develop plans for continuous environmental improvement.
Green Tier [ [link removed] ] is a voluntary program for businesses, local governments and organizations committed to going above and beyond compliance to improve their environmental performance and impact. Green Tier empowers organizations that are on the path to sustainability by requiring them to use a systematic approach to increase efficiency and minimize environmental risk. __
Tier 1 of Green Tier encourages, recognizes and rewards companies committed to superior environmental performance. As part of its Tier 1 commitment, DRM will develop and implement an Environmental Management System within the coming year.

The department looks forward to working with DRM to leverage the economic and environmental benefits of their environmental management system and further enhance their footprint.”
DRM, located in Lake Delton, specializes in precision machining and metal fabrication. Founded in 1970 as Don’s Repair, the company initially focused on manufacturing before expanding to include machining services in 1975. Rebranded as DRM Industries Corporation, the company transitioned to a 100% employee-owned company in 2022.
The company has four divisions: Machining and Fabrication, Best Exhibits, DRM Electrocoat and Centri Precleaners. DRM provides a wide range of services, including water jet cutting, robotic welding, electrocoating and the production of conveyor and road-building products. The company is committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship, with ongoing initiatives to reduce carbon emissions, water consumption and waste generation, like maintaining a lithium battery and a metal chips recycling program and monitoring coolant usage.
