While New Yorkers are trying to beat the heat, Governor Hochul is delivering for families and kids in the Empire State — by helping them do just that!

From expanding swim lessons through the NY SWIMS initiative to waiving pool fees at New York State Parks, the Hochul administration is encouraging kids and their families to get offline and get outside.

Gov. Hochul is promoting physical and mental health by helping young people get off their phones and spend time outside being active while still staying cool. She’s also allocated funding to grant programs that will teach more kids to swim across the state!
