Folks, Tim’s opponent Hung Cao just addressed Republicans all over the country. From the stage at the RNC, he promised to defeat Tim Kaine — and thanks to this national platform and exposure, we can expect his fundraising to skyrocket.

Let’s take a look at the positions he’ll be promoting with the money he’s sure to raise:

Hung Cao is a democracy denier. Not only has he peddled conspiracies about the 2020 election, he’s pledged to release and even compensate convicted January 6th insurrectionists.
Cao opposes women’s reproductive rights, supported legislation that would drastically and cruelly limit abortion access all across the country, and even compared abortion to the Holocaust.
Cao refuses to accept the reality of the climate crisis — he’s said he doesn’t think climate change is real and even called the entire concept a “boogeyman.”

It’s clear that Hung Cao’s positions are those of someone who is focused on tearing Virginia and our country down, not building us up. He hasn’t done many events in Virginia lately — and that’s because he prioritizes MAGA first and our Commonwealth last.

Tim has always believed that Virginians are ‘stand-up’ people, not ‘tear-down’ people.

But with Republicans promising to spend millions to flip VA and elect Hung Cao, we’re going to have an uphill effort between now and November.
