Your support directly helps respond to emergencies year-round:
Hurricane Beryl has caused devastation across Texas and the Caribbean, resulting in at least 11 fatalities and significant damage to over 60 health facilities in Jamaica. Americares has already allocated $100,000 to provide immediate assistance, including replacing medical equipment, hygiene kits, medicines and critical supplies.
Following a Russian airstrike, Okhmatdyt children’s hospital in Kyiv, Ukraine, was partially destroyed, killing at least two people and injuring many more, including children in critical care. Americares had recently provided lifesaving medicine to Okhmatdyt. We have reached out to our partners, offering our support as they take stock of what medicines and equipment may have been lost or damaged due to the attack.
And that's not all:
Thanks to donors like you, when thousands were displaced after deadly fires consumed their homes last year, our emergency response team was able to immediately dispatch to Hawaii.
Because of your generosity, we have been able to deliver 19 TONS of critical medicines and medical supplies to meet the urgent needs of civilians caught in the crossfire in Gaza.
But our work is far from over: That’s why we’ve set an ambitious goal of $509,000, and a generous partner has offered to TRIPLE your gifts to help us reach it!
Please, donate $125 or more right now and have TRIPLE the impact so we can respond the moment extreme weather and other crises strike around the world. |
