One problem...

I just visited one of our many postcard-writing groups in Marquette. They're reaching hundreds of voters, galvanized at a local coffee shop every week, hunkering down, focused, and delivering our positive message.

It's groups like this that motivate me to keep up the fight, but we have a problem - our volunteers need resources, literature, materials, and organizing tools.

We have just 21 days until the primary election, and although things look great, we cannot take anything for granted. We are working tirelessly to earn your primary vote and fuel our efforts toward November.

We have some critical goals to hit this month to fund our outreach. Any way you can pitch in — moral support, volunteering, or financially — will help propel us to victory this August and November.

Every day, we rise before dawn next to the lakes we're duty-bound to protect. We are more energized than yesterday to fight for hardworking families of the most significant Congressional district in America. To keep going, we need you.

Friends, I truly hate asking for money.

To give it to you straight, I do not believe this should be such a big part of the democratic process.

It's why I am the only candidate in the race who has committed to campaign finance reform and pledged that we would be grassroots-funded — no corporate PACs, no dark money, no ultra-wealthy donors looking for political influence. It's just us, people like you, pitching in what they can when they can.

But the other truth is that to continue our fight, we must get in front of every voter these last 20 days. Your contributions benefit our last leg of outreach: texting, phone banking, postcards, mailers, neighborhood canvasses, TV ads, and my incredible staff.

To keep up our momentum, I'm asking for $5, $10, or $25 to fuel the fight. With you in my corner, I won't stop this tireless effort. You deserve a Congressman with tenacity, grit, and perseverance, and I'm eager to deliver with vigor.
