John, it's no secret that the right to vote has been under attack in recent years.

The Supreme Court has gutted key portions of the Voting Rights Act. Blatant gerrymandering has reduced the power of communities of color. And discriminatory voter ID laws have reduced access to the ballot box.

One way we can turn the tide is by making it easier to vote by mail. Expanding absentee voting opportunities will increase democratic participation -- we've seen that happen right here in Arizona!

When more people can vote, our democracy is stronger. And strengthening our democracy should not be a partisan issue.
