In his short time in the U.S. Senate, Vance has already established a record that only an oil lobbyist could love:

• He has said that fossil fuels aren’t bad for the environment.
• He opposes clean energy and electric vehicles.
• He has praised extreme Supreme Court rulings that have severely weakened the EPA.
• He supports a massive expansion of fracking, the drilling process that is highly toxic to water, landscapes, and wildlife.

Vance denies the science of climate change and has called solar energy a “fantasy” and wind power “disgusting.” He received a rock-bottom score of ZERO on LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard.
